March Beckett's Update!

Hello Beckett's Diary KS backers!
RichT here:
The Deluxe book files are with our traditional printer and we've looked at the cover proofs and are expecting the interior proofs any day now. The cover ones look really good.
So, manufacturing of our deluxe Beckett's is proceeding as it should, and more when I have it. Lastly, let leave you by mentioning an upcoming announcement of a project I can't tell you about yet, but we're all really excited to be working on, that I can't announce yet.
Meanwhile in a very different game world:
Yesterday we started our latest Kickstarter campaign, for the Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought source book, or "fatsplat" book, for the Exalted 3rd Edition game line.
Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought introduces the Dragon-Blooded in 3rd Edition and all the rules necessary to feature them as player characters or NPC antagonists, including character creation rules and the element-based Dragon-Blooded Charm set of powers. This book will give an iconic view of the Dragon-Blooded, from their mythic origins as the armies of the gods to their place in the current era.
Because we made sure that the complete text for this book was finished before we ran Dragon-Blooded's KS, we can provide one quarter (more or less) of the book's text to backers each week of the campaign and get their feedback along the way. (Plus, if a backer doesn't like the text, they can cancel their pledge before the KS is over). This is the first big book for our new dev team, and judging by what we're hearing, it seems they've knocked the (fire)ball out of the park with this one!
So if that sounds interesting, please check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/200664283/dragon-blooded-what-fire-has-wrought-for-exalted-3
February Beckett's Jyhad Diary Update!

Hello Beckett's Diary KS backers!
RichT here:
The Deluxe book files are with our traditional printer and we're looking forward to receiving the printer proofs of the book in March. We'll review those, note any fixes, and get the printer printing. If we can snap some pics of the proofs, I'll send them your way.
This is the time where there's not much to say, as the manufacturing of our deluxe Beckett's takes place, so more when I have it.
Meanwhile in a different setting: Only 24 hours left for the Trinity Continuum Kickstarter!
Our latest Kickstarter campaign for the reboot of the Trinity Continuum featuring the Core Rulebook (and modern era setting) and the Trinity Continuum: Aeon setting book is down to its last 24 hours (less actually as I write this)!
We're at well over 300% funded, and have blown through 23 Stretch Goals that add all sorts of extra material for everyone's enjoyment (although not to the books as their texts are pretty much finished, and we want to roll on them quickly).
C'mon and check it out: we've released the full text for the Trinity Continuum Core book and have released all but the final chapter of Trinity Continuum: Aeon (and that final chapter get released tomorrow!) for backers to read through!

January Beckett's Update

– Wed, Jan 31, 2018 at 09:26:07 PM
Hello Deluxe Beckett's Jyhad Diary Backers!
RichT here:
We are waiting on the specs from the Deluxe printer for things like spine size and such, so we can set up our printing files accordingly. We'll send those, we'll get some proofs back, approve them or ask for changes, and they'll move into actual printing and manufacturing. So, stay tuned!
Also, just like last month, I wanted to point out that if you need information more frequently than these monthly Updates, we have several ways to get that to you. The first is to review my weekly Monday Meeting Notes blog, which you can find on our website, here: http://theonyxpath.com/category/news/monday-meeting/
Down near the end we have a weekly progress report on all of our ongoing projects, starting with the Initial Draft stage of when writers have started writing, all the way to the At Press stage of when projects are getting completed and towards being made available. You can also get the weekly blog emailed to you, so you don't have to hunt for it, by joining our Onyx Path Mailing List on the right side of our website.
You can ask questions in the comments for the Monday Meeting Notes blog which I pop in to answer during the course of the week, and also ask questions on our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and on our Onyx Path forums where we have sections dedicated to our game lines.
Finally, as this comes up a lot: if you need to change your address after the Backer Surveys have gone out and been returned, you can access your Survey response using the same url as for the Survey and make the changes needed right there. Easy peasy!
Thanks!
Beckett PoD Discount Links Sent Out!
– Tue, Jan 09, 2018 at 07:13:33 PM
Hello Beckett's Jyhad Diary backers!
RichT here:
All the BackerKit messages containing your links for the discounted Print on Demand (PoD) version of Beckett's Jyhad Diary have been sent out.
These discounts are only for backers who backed a Reward Tier that includes a discounted PoD version of Beckett's Jyhad Diary. Please check and be sure that your pledged Reward Tier includes the discounted PoD version as a reward before contacting us.
These versions are NOT the Deluxe Versions that were the point of our Kickstarter, but Print on Demand (PoD) versions that do not have the Deluxe covers or other special features, and which you can choose to order or not from DTRPG. We just provide you with a discount in case you want a physical version of Beckett's Jyhad Diary to use now, and without worrying about ruining your Deluxe.
Because we were able to discover any problems with the printer files while making the PoD files, we are now able to send our book files to our traditional printer who is making the Deluxe versions of Beckett's. They will process those files, send us proofs, and we will approve or request changes. Then they will print the interior pages, the endpapers, and do what they need to do to create the cover.
Then they combine the three parts and the bookmarks and we'll have some deluxes.
Then will come shipping.
So in terms of the Deluxes, we have a while to go, so keep an eye on our Backer Updates, or the Monday Meeting Notes blog on the Onyx Path website where we do a weekly look at the stages as the pieces come together.
Thanks!
December Beckett's Update!

Hello, V20 Beckett's Jyhad Diary Backers!
RichT here:
Right now, I'm waiting for the proof versions of the Print On Demand (PoD) of Beckett's to be sent out, and get through the holiday shipping madness, while our PoD printer is closed for the holidays.
We use the PoD as another proofing process for the files that we'll send to the traditional printer of your Deluxe books from this Kickstarter, as there are sometimes problems that don't show up in the PDF proofing process but don't reveal themselves in the physical books.
Better any issues show up in PoDs and we can fix them, than in your Deluxe versions once they are printed!
Once the PoDs are reviewed and are OK, we'll get the traditional printing files out to those printers, set the PoDs on sale along with the final PDFs on DriveThruRPG.com, and send out any PoD coupons we owe backers.
Also, just wanted to point out that if you need information more frequently than these monthly Updates, we have several ways to get that to you. The first is to review my weekly Monday Meeting Notes blog, which you can find on our website, here: http://theonyxpath.com/category/news/monday-meeting/
